Nooishof is testament to the talents of interior designer Heidrun Diekmann. Having completed several prior projects together, Marc and Mariza gave Heidrun free reign and the simple brief: create something “drop dead gorgeous”…

The trio have created a farmhouse that is both contemporary and nostalgic in feel, filled with found objects and incorporating elements of personal history, such as the painting of the vegetable bowl that takes pride of place in the kitchen, an artwork created by Mariza’s late mother Krystyna in 1952, to the presence of past-owned and much-loved dogs, honoured on tiles made by the ceramic artist Martin Haines. Weaving in personal history as art makes the Nooishof experience more homely than hotel.
